The seminar aims to examine recent changes in Europe&#8217;s and Israel&#8217;s civil society and the effects of multiculturalism on various social groups \u2013 especially Muslim and Jewish communities. The seminar will also deal with the topic of Israel&#8217;s image and standing in the European arena. The core group of organizers includes prominent scholars and heads of research centers from Europe and Israel. Each center, in turn, hosts a seminar dealing with multiculturalism and civil society in their particular country.
