Chagit Hirsch (Shvarzman) has extensive experience in various educational settings. She has been active in the HaNoar HaOved VeHalomed youth movement, where she established its activities in North America and developed the Jewish peoplehood unit. Additionally, she founded an educational center connecting young Jews from around the world with Israelis, collaborating with programs like Taglit-Birthright, Onward, and Masa. For the past twenty years, she has been a member of an urban educators’ kibbutz in Haifa as part of the Dror Israel movement. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in informal education and is currently completing her Master’s degree in the Ruderman Program for American Jewish Studies at the University of Haifa.
