Gustavo Guzmán is a historian specializing in antisemitism and Jewish history in Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Tel Aviv University, where he wrote his dissertation on the attitudes of the Chilean Right toward Jews under the supervision of Professor Raanan Rein. He is the author of Antisemitism and Philosemitism in Latin America, 1891–1991 (Routledge, forthcoming 2027), Allende, Pinochet, and the Jews (Routledge, 2026), and Attitudes of the Chilean Right Toward Jews (Brill, 2022), as well as two dozen scholarly articles. Guzmán is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NYU’s Center for the Study of Antisemitism, where he is conducting research for his fourth monograph, Anti-Zionism in Latin America, 1917–2017.
